CrossPointe is a family made up of individuals who have personally acknowledged their sin and theiir need for forgiveness, and who have accepted that forgiveness and eternal life from Jesus Christ.
We believe that salvation is offered as a free gift to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is offered by God's grace and is never a result of human works. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
HOW TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE
God's Plan:
Peace and Life. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Our Problem:
Separation. People choose to disobey God and go their own way. This separates us from God. Romans 3:23 says, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
God's Remedy:
The Cross. God the Father sent His Son to bridge the gap. By dying on the cross and rising from the grave, Jesus, being eternal God, paid the penalty for our sins. Romans 5:8 says, But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Receive Christ as Lord and Savior.
You cross the bridge into God's family when you ask Christ to forgive your sin and come into your life. John 1:12 says, Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God.
