NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL: CHECK-IN & SAFETY
A thorough screening procedure for all teachers and workers is carried out before they serve in our children's ministry. Each room will have at least two workers present at all times. Age appropriate toys are used and sanitized in each room. We request that children leave personal toys at home. Please be sure to label all your child's belongings.
Providing a fun and secure environment for your child is very important to us. Parents of all children are asked to go to check-in area. There, you will be asked to fill out an information form about your child. Preschool children check in at the desk at the front of the library. Elementary children check in at the main welcome table outside the cafetorium and will remain with their parent until they are called to attend Kids Connection at some point during the service.
Each parent is given a pager and the pager number is noted for each child. This pager number is used to check each child back out to the parent. The number should match the number on the child’s name tag. This number is also used to call the parent should a need arise.
A check-in volunteer will escort each child to their appropriate class.
If you would like to visit the classrooms or would like a tour of the facility, please inquire at the information desk. We maintain each classroom as a "secure area" and we ask that you not just walk in without checking with the staff.
