NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL: HEALTH
Based on standards established by the American Academy of Pediatrics, a child should not be taken from home and we cannot receive them for care if any of the following conditions exist:
- Fever (currently or within last 24 hrs)
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Any symptoms of childhood diseases (chicken pox, measles, whooping cough, mumps, scarlet fever)
- Common cold, from onset through one week
- Sore throat
- Any skin infections such as ringworm, impetigo, pink eye or boils
