NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL: HEALTH

Based on standards established by the American Academy of Pediatrics, a child should not be taken from home and we cannot receive them for care if any of the following conditions exist:

  • Fever (currently or within last 24 hrs)
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Any symptoms of childhood diseases (chicken pox, measles, whooping cough, mumps, scarlet fever)
  • Common cold, from onset through one week
  • Sore throat
  • Any skin infections such as ringworm, impetigo, pink eye or boils
